Creator Earnings Terms

How you earn when people buy products you tag.

What counts as a sale

  • A viewer taps Buy on your video and completes a paid order with that brand within 30 days.
  • Your purchases from your own videos don't count.
  • Sales count only once the brand reports the order to PepLive. Brands report directly; PepLive doesn't see their checkout.

How much

Commission is the percentage shown on the product (set per brand) times the order subtotal — before shipping, tax and discounts the brand applies. The rate is locked in when the sale is recorded.

When you're paid

  • Each sale is held 30 days. If it's refunded or cancelled in that window, the commission is removed.
  • After the hold, it moves to Ready to pay out in your Earnings page.
  • We pay out to the Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal account you enter. Payouts go out regularly once you have a balance ready; you'll see each one in Payout history.
  • You're an independent creator, not an employee. You're responsible for your own taxes. If you earn $600 or more in a year we may ask for a W-9 before paying further.

When we hold or cancel earnings

Commissions tied to fraud, self-purchasing, fake traffic, or videos removed for breaking the Community Guidelines can be cancelled. Accounts banned for serious violations forfeit unpaid commissions.

Disclosure

Tagged products show viewers that you earn a commission. Don't remove or contradict that. FTC rules require it.

Changes

We'll give you at least 14 days' notice in the app before reducing a rate on a sale that hasn't happened yet. Sales already recorded keep their rate.
